Hello. My name is Francesca Dorvilas, pronouns(she/her).  I am Licensed as a Master level Social Worker in both NY and NJ.  In addition, I am SIFI Certified, a Certified Professional Leadership and Life Coach, Co-Author, Motivational Speaker, and Philanthropist.  Since January 2023, I have been working with individuals, families, and couples at Mindwell Behavioral Health in Ewing, NJ providing therapy services both in-person and telehealth. My therapeutic approach is humanistic. My style can be characterized as empowering, direct, supportive, open-minded, non-judgemental, and creating a safe space. I am happy to support you along your journey.

Education and Experience

I earned my B.A. degree in Criminal Justice in 2007 from Virginia Union University and my Master’s in Social Work in 2012 from Barry University.  I embarked on my career providing services to populations in Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare as an evidence based in-home family therapist (MST and FFT) in NYC at Children’s Village. Areas of focus have consisted of truancy, substance abuse, parenting, budgeting, domestic violence, communication, anger management, stress management, depression, and anxiety.  As a Certified Coach, Francesca partnered with ACS Workforce Institute in NYC as Coach Consultant providing foundational coaching training, 1:1 coaching, and group leadership coaching to the Administration for Children Services Leadership and Management teams in Brooklyn, NY.
