Great to meet you!
Jacqueline is a Licensed Associate Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and create meaningful, positive changes. She believes that every person has the capacity for growth and empowerment, and she works collaboratively with clients to build on their strengths and achieve their goals. Jacqueline has three years of experience working in public education as a school counselor. In this role, she has developed a strong understanding of the challenges children and adolescents face, including navigating social media, balancing academic responsibilities, and managing peer relationships and conflicts.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Through SFBT, Jacqueline helps clients identify practical solutions and focus on their desired future, while CBT supports them in recognizing and challenging unhelpful thought patterns that may be impacting their well-being. By integrating these approaches, she empowers individuals to develop effective coping strategies, overcome obstacles, and improve their overall quality of life.
Jacqueline is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged throughout their therapeutic journey. In Jacqueline’s free time, she volunteers as a Traumatic Loss Coalition lead responder. She also volunteers for a non-profit aimed at empowering young females, and with an animal rescue. She enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
