My name is Nubia. I'm a newly licensed therapist driven by a deep passion for helping people overcome challenges and build fulfilling lives. Although new to licensure, I've cultivated diverse clinical experience working with a variety of populations, equipping me to address a broad range of life issues and transitions. My core commitment is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their strengths, heal, and achieve their personal goals.
My clinical experience spans working with diverse populations facing unique life challenges, including older adults, students with disabilities, and individuals within the juvenile justice system. A core thread across my work is addressing the impact of challenging life events. To further my ability to support clients in this area, I hold a certificate in interpersonal violence and trauma. I'm dedicated to applying this specialized knowledge to provide evidence-based, compassionate care that is always tailored to meet each individual's unique needs.
