Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with over 10 years of professional work experience in mental and behavioral health, including clinical and psychotherapy adult outpatient settings. I have experience in helping clients with anxiety, workplace stress and burnout, depression, PTSD, and concerns related to self-worth and relationships. I provide inclusive, culturally sensitive support for BIPOC and neurodivergent populations, and I am Spanish-speaking.
A bit about my approach to therapy
I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy, and compassion. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in meeting you where you are. I draw from evidence-based practices, including mindfulness, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches, while also recognizing the connection between the mind, body, and lived experience. I incorporate somatic tools to support deeper self-awareness, positive coping methods, and healing. I will tailor treatment plans to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking a step towards seeking support takes courage and I am honored to be part of that process.
What you can expect from our first session
During our initial appointment, I will provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your current needs and presenting problems openly. I will review therapy expectations and confidentiality and together, we will build rapport and begin to identify treatment goals towards your plan. Whether you are navigating life transitions, feeling overwhelmed, or seeking greater self-understanding, our work will focus on helping you reconnect, heal, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
